Cookie Policy

This website sets no cookies of its own – it does not need any. The pages are static, there is no login and no shopping basket, and the contact form works without a session identifier. The only thing stored on your device is the choice you make in the consent dialogue, and that is held in localStorage rather than in a cookie.

Cookies can only arise through a single service, and that one only after your explicit consent: Google Analytics 4 for audience measurement. If you decline or make no choice at all, it is not loaded and no connection to Google is established.

Everything else is held on the same server as the website: the typefaces, and the library that displays this dialogue. There is no content delivery network and no font service that would see your IP address when a page is opened.

On your first visit, this website asks whether measurement is allowed. Everything is switched off by default – only your explicit consent enables Google Analytics. Reading on or scrolling does not count as consent.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser and applies until you change it. You can change or withdraw it at any time – with the button below, with the round symbol at the bottom left of every page, or by clearing the site data in your browser settings. A withdrawal takes effect immediately: the page is reloaded so that the measurement script leaves memory, and any _ga cookies already set are deleted.

Storing information on your device and gaining access to it is governed by Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, implementing Directive 2002/58/EC: without consent, only technically necessary operations are permitted. The consent store falls into that category – it records only what you decided, and it is at the same time the record that Art. 7(1) GDPR requires.

Google Analytics 4 rests on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. That consent is freely given, can be withdrawn at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR), and has no retroactive effect: processing carried out until withdrawal remains lawful.

The design of the dialogue follows the guidelines of the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali on cookies and other tracking tools (measure no. 231 of 10 June 2021, applicable since 10 January 2022): nothing preselected, scrolling does not amount to consent, declining is as easy as agreeing, and the dialogue is not repeated on every visit.
